Abstract

This article deals with the creation of the #NoSinMujeres Female Political Scientists Network as a collective effort to degenderize a deeply masculinized discipline such as Political Science. We identify the prevailing gender inequalities in the field and the strategies developed to make visible and promote the work of the female colleagues of the Network. In particular, the article focuses on the synergies developed, the use of the media, and social networks as well as the public impact achieved, while seeking to reflect on the learning experience, costs, and challenges entailed by this type of collective mobilization strategies.
