Outlines for an urban pedagogy appropriate to educational developments in the cities

Abstract

The current conditions of urban life in our countries and the problems inscribed on the relationship between city and education, leads us to exalt the need to build a pedagogy that will contribute to the formation of a democratic civic culture. In this document, we propose to map some journeys disrupted in pedagogical memory, out of the culture of the street, pointing out the tensions and challenges that arise from crossing urban and educational spheres. We are also interested in describing the presence of certain social-educational territorial practices interesting for urban education developments.
