Abstract

The author analyzes the concept “quality of life” in connection with that of "economic development", noting that they refer to a similar field, but the former has imposed due probably to the increasing influence of modern media. Then analyzes the various issues associated with this concept, and the value of the concept as an achievement horizon. He follows then the theoretical development of the concept, and completes his work with the references to the topics in the press of the Metropolitan Region. He concludes with an invitation to a dialogue for a better world.
